Egypt, part 1: Naama Bay

So Sharm El Sheikh is on that peninsula on the Red Sea, next to Saudi Arabia.

Tourism is very important to Egypt’s economy and Naama Bay is the big tourist resort area in Sharm which has sprung up in the last 30 years. It is a very nice bay with a nice beach surrounded by hotels and millions of tourist shops selling snow globes with sphinxes inside and so on.

Outside Naama Bay’s many restaurants, the young men dance to hip-hop to attract the tourists inside.
